Fim about the Dynamic Map (designed, produced and installed by ENESS) which forms the centrepiece of the The Melbourne Story exhibition at The Melbourne Museum, Australia.
Visually the Dynamic Map installation is an assortment of 40 different sized plinths that act as an alternative viewing hub for an animated short and a collection of archival images. Both video and stills are grouped into time periods and as eras pass viewers witness for themselves Melbourne's simultaneous cultural shift and physical growth.
ENESS' interactive trademark is also in play, as patrons near the installation their presence imposes images to flip, float and fade from individual plinths across sculpture. It is a journey of self discovery through Melbourne's ancestral history.
